Types of Appraisals

  • Full appraisals include a site visit (exterior and interior) with measurements taken by the appraiser to determine square footage.

  • Drive-by appraisals include a drive-by the site and utilize other sources for square footage and interior information. Sources may include county records, MLS data, prior appraisals, and/or information provided by the owner.

  • Desktop appraisals are completed at the office with no site visit. Like a drive-by, information about the property is obtained from other sources.

  • Review appraisals are a review of another appraisal. It may or may not include a drive-by site visit.
